Robert L. ‘Bob’ Brooks of Chatham, Pa.
Robert L. “Bob” Brooks, age 88, passed away February 13, 2016. Born in Rawlinsville, Pa and raised in Kennett Square he had been a resident of Chatham for over 60 years. Mr. Brooks was a Navy veteran of WW II, he was a self employed truck driver and later in life enjoyed selling produce and Christmas Trees from his home. He was an avid hunter and trap shooter and enjoyed watching the Phillies and Nascar. Mr. Brooks was predeceased by his wife Helen Tingley Brooks who died in 2008, and his brothers Duer, Carl and Dale Brooks. He is survived by two sons Thomas and his wife Joan of Coatesville, PA and Andrew and his wife Kristyn of Brownstown, PA, 3 grandchildren and special family friend Shaun O’Flanagan of Rockville Centre, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service Friday, Feb. 19 at 11:00 am in the Chatham United Methodist Church, 3215 Gap Newport Pike, West Grove, PA 19390.
